As the USWNT roster was announced Wednesday morning, it came with a few surprise omissions and inclusions. However, the USA is doing its best with the players it has available.

Halfway through the NWSL season, it’s becoming all too evident that some teams aren’t living up to their expectations, while others are far exceeding them.

With the USWNT expected to release its World Cup roster within the next few days, more than a few tough decisions await manager Vlatko Andonovski.
