Panthers trade for 1st overall pick

Chicago Bears

Chicago, Illinois (PSF) — The Chicago Bears have officially traded down in the 2023 NFL Draft. After months of hearing the Bears possibly trading away the #1 overall pick in this years draft, it became official on Friday. What makes this even more impressive is that Chicago still has the highest cap space going into free agency. It will be no shock that there will be some big time moves that will happen.

The Chicago Bears aquired two first round picks, one of them being the ninth overall, and a 2024 first round pick, the 61st overall pick and a 2024 second round pick, and the Panthers also added in wide receiver DJ Moore to the trade as well. Now that the Panthers are on the clock there is a high chance of them drafting CJ Stroud from Ohio State or another quarterback. Who wins this trade? Carolina or Chicago?
