The Dallas Cowboys’ Offseason SO Far

Iowa City, IA, (PSF)–The NFL league year has begun, and Jerry and Stephen Jones decided to not be complacent this go-round.

Typically, the Dallas Cowboys don’t make many off-season moves, but this year has been surprisingly different.

Dallas made a splash, trading a fifth-round pick for cornerback Stephon Gilmore from the Indianapolis Colts, who will be wearing number five for the Cowboys.

Just a few days later, Dallas made another splash in the trade market, acquiring wide receiver Brandin Cooks from the Cowboys who has had six 1000 yard seasons since 2015.

The Cowboys gave up a 2023 fifth-round pick and a 2024 sixth-round pick.

It is early in free agency, but Jerry Jones has helped retain and obtain the needs to the team to get them over that hump and make that first conference championship in almost three decades.
