Ravens Sign CB Ronald Darby Following Loss of Marlon Humphrey to Foot Injury

Baltimore, Maryland (PSF) - The Baltimore Ravens have been causing a lot of talk over the last season. After the loss of the Super Bowl, they have been making new deals to get a great team for the upcoming season that is about to happen, one of the players that are about to join the team is Ronald Darby who is now a free agent player.

The Ravens made a deal with Darby to a one-year contract worth up to $3.2 million. This news is also really great for the team since cornerback Marlon Humphrey is expected to miss a month or so thanks to a foot injury, which likely means he will miss a good amount of games.

Darby is going to be a main help for the Ravens when the games start, mostly because the team is also dealing with Rock Ya Sin who has been projected to start this season, however he has been also missing a few weeks because of a knew injury. There is also reserves Arthur Maulet and Jalvn Armour Davis also have missed time and remain out of practice with these injuries.

Darby was a second-round pick of the Bills in 2015, he has also spent time with Buffalo, Philadelphia and Washington and started the past two seasons for Denver. Darby suffered a season ending injury after starting the first five games last season. In his professional career he has played 89 games with a total of eight interceptions, 90 passes defended one fumble forced and one recovery. A good track record for someone who is just 29 years old.

The Ravens are going to be in a real tied situation, they have to get a real well put together team and make sure they can get enough players to have a good amount of points. Darby might be a good addition, but he is not going to be the only player who can make a difference, we will see how far the Ravens can go this season.
