The Jaguars are heading into week 8 with a 5-2 record after this week's win on Thursday Night Football to the New Orlean Saints. Their only losses so far this season are to a very good Kansas City Chiefs team and the Houston Texans, who are having a better season than many fans expected. Even with Trevor Lawrence having a subpar year so far, their rushing game with Travis Etienne has helped them to be overall first in the AFC South division. They have a tough non divisional game next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers where they will fight to stay on top of the division.

The Colts through 7 weeks of the season overall have looked better than the Houston Texans and have a win over the Texans which is why they are ranked at number two in the AFC South division. The Colts have had many bumps in the road this season with Anthony Richardson being out for season, Grover Stewart suspended for illegal use of PEDs, and the starting cornerback, Isaiah Rodgers being suspended indefinitely for gambling. Even with all this, the Colts are still at a 3-4 record and two games behind the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts will have a tough game this week against the New Orlean Saints, which is a must win if they want to keep their hopes alive of winning the division.

The Texans are having a much better season this year than many with a 3-3 record on the year. Rookie Quarterback C.J. Stroud is having a great season and is the frontrunner to win Rookie of the Year. This past week was a bye for the Texans which will give them an extra week of rest and planning for this week's game against the Carolina Panthers. Right now they are in solo second place for the AFC South, and with a win against the Panthers, they will be able to boost their chances of staying close to the top of the division.

The Titans are 2-4 so far on the season which puts them at last in the AFC South, but not totally out of the divisional race. The Titans are a tough team that has had some tough losses this season, but they are also coming off of a bye week which will help them be more prepared for a home game against a beatable Atlanta Falcons team. The Titans have multiple weapons on their team like Derrick Henry and DeAndre Hopkins that they can utilize to turn their season around.
