Should Tyrod Taylor take over as Giants QB
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (PSF) - Tyrod Taylor took over as the starting QB for the Giants last Sunday night. Daniel Jones was out with a neck injury he suffered last week and Taylor took over in that game as well.
Tyrod threw 36 times and completed 24 of those attempts for 200 yards. He kept the game close against the Bills.
Taylor has not started a game in a while and has become a journeyman in the NFL. He has jumpstarted some of other young players careers on different teams by getting injured, such as Justin Herbert and Baker Mayfield. He has been the backup for most teams that he has joined and he is being used to mentor young athletes in their career.
The backup QB looked fairly well on Sunday in Buffalo. He may continue taking snaps for the team on gameday if Daniel Jones continue to stay out due to that neck injury.
Jones has been playing like he did last year for the Giants. Taylor may need to take over soon if Jones continues to underperform.
