Packers vs Broncos Preview

The Denver Broncos (1-5) will be playing to get their first home win of the season against the Green Bay Packers (2-3).  On the Broncos' part they need to be able to give quarterback Russell Wilson more time in the pocket along with getting the receivers open more.  As it hasn't been working out for the Broncos, they need to feed running back Jaleel McLaughlin the ball he has been the most productive back.  On the defensive side they have been undoubtedly the worst defense in the league so far this year, ranking in the bottom three for sacks, pressure percent, and ranked 32nd with 458.2 yards per game.  Although the secondary has some weapons and this defense can click at any point but we will see if that happens Sunday.

The Green Bay Packers have not been looking good either this year but have shown some hope with the young core they have.  Though that Monday night game for Jordan Love was not ideal for him, throwing three interceptions which ultimately lost them that game.  If Aaron Jones is healthy it could be a big factor in the game, while AJ Dillon hasn’t been doing enough for the Packers at the RB1 position.  Defense will be the deciding factor in the game for the Packers with allowing 358.4 yards per game.

The game should be a shootout, but I feel with these offenses this might be a low scoring affair.  Packers win this one 14-10, with a huge 4th quarter presence.
