5-0 for team lebron

This past Sunday was the 2022 NBA All Star game featuring team LeBron taking on team Durant at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland. The game started off as most All-Star games normally do with some amazing dunks and alley oops from both teams. Trea Young threw an alley-oop to Ja Morant who jumped out of the gym to catch and turn into a verse dunk. LeBron James tried to throw the ball off the backboard for a dunk that went in but not according to plan as it hit rim off the backboard before coming back to him. Of course, Zach LaVine put on a show for everyone with a crazy 360 jam. Even the big fella himself and frontrunner for MVP, Joel Embid tried show off his bunnies with a windmill dunk as he finished the game with 36 points for team Durant.

There was an amazing heartfelt moment before the second quarter for NBA fans. Chris Paul was named the inaugural recipient of the Kobi and Gigi WNBA advocacy award. Following that was the showing of the 75 greatest players in NBA history and there was a special moment between Michael Jordan and LeBron James exchanging a few words as the two greatest players of all time.

Even with all the amazing display of athleticism in this game, the star of the night didn't even make one attempt at dunking.  This man is none other than the greatest shooter of all time, Steph Curry. Steph Curry hidden all style record of 16 threes in the game. Give them from anywhere you can imagine on the court and blessed us with a few no look three-point shots as well. Curry finished the game with 50 points which is almost an All-Star record for the most points in an All Star game which is still held by Anthony Davis with 52 points.

As most NBA fans know when it comes to an All Star game, the fourth quarter is where everything gets heated. The fourth quarter was very back and forth between team LeBron and team Durant as it came down to 160 to 161 team LeBron in the Last minute of the game. And in the final seconds of the game, the hometown hero himself, LeBron James, hit the MJ fade to seal the win. Team Lebron wins the All-Star game 160-163 and the All-Star game MVP was given to Steph Curry.
