Top Four Race Heating up

The top four race this season has been nothing short of incredible, with 6-7 teams who are truly in contention to be able to finish the season in the Champions League spots, and a handful of those teams being able to contend for a Premier League title.

It would appear, barring a disastrous collapse, that the top three currently will remain in their posts, but not in any particular order. Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City have been forces of nature this season with Arteta, Klopp and Guardiola having their squads revamped and ready for another title push.

This past weekend was a clash between heavy weights, with Man City and Tottenham sharing the glory in a thrilling 3-3 draw which saw City drop points for the third straight game, very unlike them. Tottenham have had their injury woes hurt them in previous weeks, as they were top of the league for the first several weeks.

Arsenal has really found their stride with a win 2-1 over Wolves over the weekend, they claim the joint top spot in the Premier League with Liverpool. Liverpool have also gone through a big revamp of their squad, with Alexis McCallister and Dominik Szoboszlai giving the Reds a fresh look in their midfield. Salah is a shining light for Liverpool as they continue their march to another Premier League title.

Dark horse candidates such as Aston Villa, led by Unai Emery, have done bits this season. They have won and drawn against some quality opposition, though they have gotten beaten by weaker competition in the league which has hindered their run for a top three spot. However they do still sit in fourth which is a fantastic job by Emery after bringing in players such as Diaby, Torres and others to compete against the top teams in the league.

Look for this season to be one of the tightest top 4 and title chases in recent memory.
