Spurs Continue to Fly
Ange Postecoglu has done absolute wonders with Tottenham Hotspur. With the sale of club legend Harry Kane this past summer, it looked as if it would be somewhat of a “rebuild year” for them in terms of overall talent. With the additions of James Maddison, Micky Van De Ven, and Guglielmo Vicario, Spurs have had a sensational start to the season.
The Spurs have started this campaign undefeated through nine games, their best start to a season in club history.
New club captain and legend in the making Heung Min Son has been a massive part in why Spurs have been so successful. Seven goals in nine games for him, Ange has Son playing the best football of his career.
James Maddison, seemingly the signing of the summer up until this point, bagged his first goal in front of the Spurs faithful in Monday night's triumph vs Fulham. He has been absolutely sensational for the boys in white with three goals and five assists in 10 contests this season in all competitions.
If the Spurs can continue this great run of form, you never know what could happen in this league. However, in a season where there are so many teams that can compete for the Premier League title, it is going to be a long and trying season for Spurs. Ange is becoming one of the best managers in the world, now we have to see if he can keep the Spurs competitive until the very end.
