Mo Salah has been one of the best players in the Premier League for several seasons. Since his move to Liverpool, he has scored 183 goals in 298 games. The sheer goalscoring ability has been something special for the Egyptian, as he has cemented himself as one of the Premier League’s best attackers in history.
Salah has done everything but slow down this season, his stats are some of the best in the Premier League.
With Liverpool being out of the Champions League and in the Europa League this season, it is a great opportunity to get several goals against inevitably weaker competition.
Salah and Liverpool sit fourth in the Premier League, which is the final Champions League spot. They will surely look to him to continue his stellar start to the season. What makes it more impressive is the sheer amount of attacking power that Liverpool have with the likes of Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, and Diogo Jota. These players have enabled Salah to be free with the ball and have a great impact whether it be scoring or assisting.
Though before the Summer Transfer Window was finished, a Saudi club offered Liverpool $190 Million for the Egyptian and Liverpool declined. At the moment, it seemed crazy that Liverpool would turn down the opportunity to get club changing money for a 31-year-old player. Including myself, I thought the opportunity was too good for them to pass up.
We all could not have been more wrong about the thought of selling Salah, and he is making his mark yet again in a Premier League season that looks to be tight at the top. Look for Salah to continue this output while cementing himself as a Liverpool legend.
