The league leaders dropped points against a relegation contender in West Ham United. Arsenal threw away a big advantage in the title race. Arsenal was off to a great start in the game, but collapsed, is this foreshadowing for the league?

The game started off with Arsenal dominating the game with two goals within the first ten minutes. Gabriel Jesus got the first with a simple tap in on the seventh minute mark. This was followed up by Martin Odegaard volley in the 10th minute. This was not enough for the league leaders to hold on to the victory.

Said Benrahama slotted home a gifted penalty to make the game 2-1 and flip the pressure onto Arsenal. In the second half it looked like Arsenal were gifted the game back when they were awarded a penalty due to a hand ball. Bukayo Saka missed the penalty by quite a bit, Jarrod Bowen of West Ham took advantage of the miss and scored just minutes later to tie the game up for the Hammers.

The Premier League is still a two horse race with the battle between the top two sides likely to decide the Title. Arsenal will need to go to the Etihad and get a favorable result without dropping any more points. Arsenal plays Southampton this Friday, and will have the clash against City next week.
