Injured Ducks Along for the Flight
The Anaheim Ducks are headed on over to go up against three out of eight Metropolitan Division teams. They will be going up against the New York Islanders on Dec. 13, the New York Rangers on Dec. 15, and the New Jersey Devils on Dec. 17.
The social media administration made an instagram post on Dec. 11 that would show Jamie Drysdale boarding the team charter plane alongside some of his teammates.
Later on that same day, another post would be made showing not only Jamie Drysdale but also Trevor Zegras and Mason McTavish getting off of the team plane.
These posts made fans start to get excited over the thought of these players being back on the ice as the last game Jamie Drysdale played in was on Oct. 15 against the Carolina Hurricanes, since then he has been on the injured reserve list. Trevor Zegras’ last game played before getting added to the injured reserve list was on Nov. 7 against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Newly injured Mason McTavish’s last game played was on Dec. 2, against the Colorado Avalanche.
The three did in fact join morning practice on Dec. 12, this time both Zegras and McTavish were seen wearing red no-contact jerseys, meanwhile Drysdale was seen with a black jersey, signifying contact can be made while playing.
These posts sparked new hope for Ducks fans as hopefully this means all three will be back on the ice for game days in the near future.
