Blues Beat Islanders 7-4 in New York

Tuesday night, December 6, 2022, Noel Acciari and Colton Parayko scored 13 seconds apart in the third period, and the St. Louis Blues defeated the New York Islanders 7-4. 

Josh Leivo scored the first goal of the night at 17:13, which was also his first goal of the season. Blues’ center Brayden Schenn assisted the goal. 

Noah Dobson scored the first goal for the Islanders at 17:52, and Mathew Barzal and Oliver Wahlstrom assisted the goal. 

In the second period the Blues made two more goals. Ivan Barbashev made the first goal at 3:51, and Ryan O’Reilly made the second goal at 14:58. The Blues ended the second period 3-1 

In the third, Acciari made the first goal at 3:37, and 13 seconds later, at 3:50, Colton Parayko scored a goal. 

Zach Parise, Hudson Fasching, and Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored for the Islanders in the third period. 

The Blues’ Robert Thomas and Acciari then netted two empty net goals which sealed their victory 7-4.
