Alex Killorn and Adam Fox Both fined MAx For slashes

Tampa Bay Lighting player Alex Killorn and New York Rangers player Adam Fox have been fined $5k for their actions in Wednesday’s game.

New York —- The Tampa Bay Lighting faced off the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday. The Rangers beat the Lighting 6-3.

At 11:34 of the second period, Killorn was assessed a minor penalty for slashing against Rangers’ goalie Igor Shesterkin.

Adam Fox was also assessed a minor penalty for slashing against Lightning’s Corey Perry.

Both players were fined $5k which is the maximum allowable under the collective bargaining agreement.

Wednesday’s game was incredibly rough with a combined total of 19 penalties called, 70 penalties minutes, $10k in fines, and four fights during the contest.
