A Wild One
Tuesday night’s matchup between the Flyers was indeed a wild one. So far, the Flyers have been absolutely lethal on the penalty kill. Unfortunately this was not one of those games, but late in the third is where things took an interesting turn. The Minnesota Wild were down by three goals and scoreless. About three minutes in is when the Wild went on the offensive. They scored two goals a little over a minute apart. It looked like the Flyers took their foot off the gas, but alas! The spectators were deceived!
A little more than halfway into the third, the Flyers took back control with the final score being 6-2. Bobby Brink scored his first NHL goal in the second period and then topped It off with his second goal in the third period. This is a start to the Flyers’ most wild season yet.
