A Season of Redemption

The Florida Panthers are among the league's best heading into the 2024 playoffs. Last season, Florida squeaked their way into the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference, setting themselves up in a matchup with the statistically best team ever, the Boston Bruins.

Against all odds, the Panthers beat the Bruins in a 7-game thriller to move onto round 2. In round 2 they dominated the Toronto Maple Leafs in 5 games and followed that up by sweeping the Carolina Hurricanes in 4 games. Ultimately the Panthers came up short in the Stanley Cup Finals losing to the Vegas Golden Knights in 5 games. This has been a fantastic follow up season for the Panthers finishing in first place in the Atlantic Division where they will face the Tampa Bay Lightning in round 1.

The Panthers have one of the best odds to win the cup this season following last year's run. It will be interesting see how they approach this year’s run and how the players can use last year as a motivation tactic to try and claw their way back to give themselves a chance at the ultimate goal.
