Will the Dolphins’ Offense continue its dominant run against the Eagles?

An upcoming Sunday Night Game is stirring heavy anticipation, as it contains two of some of the most exciting offenses this season. On one end, you have Miami, who lead the NFL in total offensive yards (498.7), pass yards (316.8), rush yards (181.8), and points per game (37.2). Yes, that is a hell of an offensive resume to have. On the other side, you have the Eagles playing at home. This team also bodes impressive offense themselves, ranking second in both total offensive yards (395.0) and rushing yards (150.0). The main topic of choice is whether or not the Dolphins can continue their streak of electrifying offense. From what has been a six-game tenure of record-breaking offense, Sunday Night will reveal if this group is ready to dismantle a Super Bowl contender or finally run into a brick wall.

is eagles defensive coordinator sean desai ready for the challenge?

The injury bug had been plaguing the Eagles all season, and it reached a new low against the Jets. The trend is looking to continue against the Dolphins, with Blankenship and recently signed Bradley Roby out. However, this defense should be much healthier comparably, with Jalen Carter, Darius Slay, and Sidney Brown fully practicing again. Sean Desai is no stranger to making adjustments at this point in the season considering the amount of injuries he’d had to deal with. Lately, there’s been an upwards trend on Eagles’ defensive performances, barring injuries, so it might be worthwhile to expect this Philly defense to fight back and maybe cause some timely turnovers with that incredible D-line.

Can the dolphins defense keep up?

The defensive side of the Dolphin’s game is less talked about for obvious reasons but it’s worth previewing it against the Eagles. Historically, the Dolphins have been a team to struggle against the run and running quarterbacks, which the Eagles have some of the best in. A notable problem the Eagles offense had the previous week was any form of establishment for the run. Assuming that OC Brian Johnson should be aware of that, expect the Eagles to immediately run the ball as much as they can, testing the Dolphins’ ability to stop it.

Ultimately, these offenses are going to put up points. For Miami, the Eagles will serve as their second “difficult” opponent and we are aware of the blowout Miami faced against the Bills. If the defense can’t keep up and the offense begins to fizzle out, Miami will struggle. The Dolphins’ offense will likely have to score 35+ points if they are looking to come out on top. Either way, this matchup is expected to be the game of the week, full of offense, drama, and conference supremacy.
