Kadarius Toney has first breakout game as a Chief

First-round Giants draft pick Kadarius Toney had a decent but inconsistent first season in the NFL. This season with New York, he had struggled with injuries, leading him to be traded to Kansas City for a third and sixth-round draft pick.

Those injuries don’t seem to be nagging him so far.

His most recent performance showed Toney grab 4 catches for 57 yards and one touchdown, as well as 33 rushing yards. He had some impressive receptions that displayed why the Giants selected him 20th overall. It may just be one game, but the sky is the limit when Patrick Mahomes is your quarterback.

What else is there to say about this game that hasn’t already been said? Josh Allen and Kirk Cousins went toe-to-toe in the NFL’s best game of the year so far. Justin Jefferson and Stefon Diggs continue to prove why they are among the NFL’s elite receivers. The two alone combined for 321 yards, and both had receptions worthy of the Catch of the Year award. In the end, Allen just made too many late-game mistakes, which gave Minnesota the win. He now leads the league in interceptions and is 0-4 in overtime games. While I still believe he is a top 5 quarterback, his decision making is starting to come into question.
