Titans walk over chiefs to advance to 5-2
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill almost had a perfect night, leaving the game being 21-27 with 270 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception. The one touchdown pass was thrown to A.J. Brown late in the first quarter to record the Titans second score of the game. He also showed off a bit of rushing skills late in the second quarter to get into the endzone to record the Titans third score of the game. The chiefs defense had no answer for Ryan Tannehill’s aerial performance.
A.J. Brown has been stepping up big the last couple of weeks for the Titans offense. He finished the game with eight receptions for 133 yards. Brown had a big catch late in the first quarter that was caught in double coverage, which put the chiefs in the redzone. This led to their first score of the game. Brown’s touchdown was made early in the first quarter to give their offense their morale and confidence against the Chief’s defense. A.J. seemed to be Tannehill’s go to man throughout the game.
The Titans’ defense were very locked in against the Chief’s offense forcing Mahomes Poor performance. The Titans defense forced Mahomes to fumble twice, once in the second quarter and once in the third. The Titans defense also forced Mahomes to throw an interception that was picked by Rashaan Evans. Did this defense figure Patrick Mahomes out? Will the Titans make a superbowl run?
