Nashville, Tennessee (PSF) — The Tennessee Titans fell 36-22 to the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday in Nashville. It is the Titans third consecutive loss as they dropped to 7-6 on the season.

The Titans drove down the field on their first drive of the game, which resulted in a Derrick Henry touchdown to take a 7-0 lead. The Jaguars would follow by going three and out on their first drive, but they would immediately get it back after rookie edge rusher Travon Walker strip sacked Ryan Tannehill. The Jaguars would score a touchdown off of the turnover as Trevor Lawrence found tight end Evan Engram in the endzone to tie the game at seven. The Titans came right back with a Derrick Henry 50-yard run that set up the Titans in the red-zone. Tannehill would hit rookie tight end Chig Okonkwo in the endzone to make it 14-7.

In the second quarter, Tannehill threw his only interception of the game, which resulted in points as the Jaguars kicked a field goal to make it a 14-10. The Titans only positive drive in the second quarter ended in another turnover as Henry fumbled following a big hit from a Jaguars defender. The Jaguars capitalized on the third Titans turnover as Lawrence found wide receiver Zay Jones in the endzone to take a 20-14 lead into halftime.

Coming out of the half, the Jaguars would continue scoring as Lawrence led the Jaguars on a 12-play 72 yard opening touchdown drive to give the Jags a 27-14 lead. The Titans would follow with a quick three-and-out, prompting boos from the home fans. It would get even worse for the Titans as Engram would catch his second touchdown pass of the game to put the Jags up 33-14 lead. The Jags would go on to defeat the Titans 36-22.

Trevor Lawrence threw for a career high 368 passing yards along with 3 touchdowns. Evan Engram was his go-to guy as he caught 11 passes for 162 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Ryan Tannehill threw for 254 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Tannehill was also sacked four times in this game. Derrick Henry rushed for 121 yards and scored one touchdown. 119 of his 121 rushing yards came in the first half, as the Titans were playing catch up in the second half.

The Titans are still in a prime position to win the weak AFC South, and they will hope to end their three game losing streak when they travel to Los Angeles next week to face the Chargers.
