The Indianapolis Colts looked lost in week 2
The Indianapolis Colts went to Lambeau Field and lost 16-10 to the Malik Willis led Green Bay Packers. This was the worst performance thus far in Anthony Richardson’s short career, but he was not only one to blame.
Richardson finished the game with 204 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. The only touchdown from the Colts was a fourth quarter four-yard touchdown to Alec Pierce, who has been the best receiver on the Colts so far this season. Jonathan Taylor had a 103 yard game on only 12 carries, and was controversially sat out the whole fourth quarter. The run defense by the Colts in this game showed they learned nothing from week one and proceeded to allow 261 rushing yards.
Malik Willis came into this game without throwing a single touchdown in three seasons and would end up playing a near-perfect game where he would only need 122 yards and a touchdown to lead his team to victory. Willis only threw the ball 14 total times and the Colts failed to record a sack in this game.
DeForest Buckner has landed on IR which already hurts the worst run defense in the league. This is the worst potential injury that they could have on their defense as they already lost Samson Ebukam for the season.
The Colts will face the Chicago Bears on Sunday in what will be an interesting matchup between one of the worst Offensive lines versus the worst run defense. That matchup will be the key to this game.
