The Dak Prescott Era in Dallas may be Coming to a Close

DALLAS (PSF) - The Dak Prescott era in Dallas is starting to become dimmer after every game for the Cowboys now. It has been eight years since the Cowboys originally drafted Prescott and he eventually took over for Tony Romo. During he only has two playoff wins to his name despite making the playoffs in four of those seasons. A big issue of that has been the San Francisco 49ers. They have beaten Dallas the last two seasons in the playoffs ending the Cowboys season.

This past Sunday night it was seen as the โ€œgame of the weekโ€ between the Cowboys and 49ers matching up once again. Itโ€™s safe to say that nothing really changed for the third time now. Dallas lost 42-10 and were dominated in all three stages of the game. Prescott looked about as bad as he could, throwing three interceptions. The defense of Dallas didnโ€™t do any favors either by allowing George Kittle to snag three touchdowns in the game. This was the game for Prescott that made the entire Cowboys fan base lose faith in him.

Dallas came into the season with high expectations and were seen as super bowl contenders, but now with a 3-2 record, the super bowl seems as far away as it ever has in this 27 year drought for Jerry Jonesโ€™s team. The schedule doesnโ€™t get much easier for the Cowboys either, next week they travel to play the Chargers on Monday Night Football. Thankfully, they will have their bye week after that game and that is where a lot of tough questions will be answered in the front office.

If this team plays as hard as they say they are, then the Cowboys should bounce back from this. If they donโ€™t then their could be some drastic changes on this team heading into next season, starting at the quarterback position.
