Patriots Sign Malik Cunningham to 53-Man Roster

An interesting turn of events occurs in New England as former quarterback Malik Cunningham has not just been promoted to the practice squad, but also will be signing a 3-year deal as well. New England made a lot of roster moves on Saturday before gameday as the Patriots are packing their bags and heading to Vegas to play the Las Vegas Raiders.

The 25 year old rookie had a great preseason for the Patriots playing two positions on offense as a quarterback and a wide receiver. As of now it may seem like both positions are going to be needs for New England as Mac Jones and the receiving core has been struggling this year. Cunningham being promoted may seem like we could be hearing his name on Sunday with JuJu Smith-Schuster and Demario Douglas are both inactive due to concussions.
