Steelers Defeat Titans 19-13

The Pittsburgh Steelers playoffs are still alive after 4th quarter comeback victory Sunday. Entering Sunday's game, the Steelers division and playoff chances looked very dim with a loss to the Titans. The Titans struck points first with a 1-yard Ryan Tannehill run to lead the Steelers 7-0. Shortly after the Titans extended the lead 10-0 with a Randy Bullock 26-yard field goal. The Steelers entered halftime trailing 13-3 after a 36-yard Chris Boswell field goal. An impressive Steelers drive finishing with a 1-yard run by Ben Roethlisberger sparked a second-half rally. Opening the 4th quarter, the Steelers rallied back to tie the game 13-13. After two Titans turnovers, the Steelers led the game 19-13. Late in the 4th quarter, Ryan Tannehill and company made one final push to Pittsburgh's 16-yard line to win the game. The Steelers defense holds the Titians on 4th down thanks to a Joe Haden tackle holding on to a 19-13 victory.

Joe Haden missed a month of playing due to a foot injury during that time the Steelers defense was flailing. Sunday Joe Haden made his return to the field and made a game-saving tackle. Haden stopped Titans receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from getting a first down to keep the Steelers playoffs hopes alive.

The Steelers defense forced 4 turnovers notable 3 of the turnovers came on consecutive Titians drives contributing to the Steelers comeback. Although the Steelers created turnovers the Titians running game finished with 202-yards, including Titians running back D'Onta Foreman's 108-yards.

Thanks to a Ravens lost to the Packers Sunday afternoon the Steelers divisional and playoff hopes are very much alive. The Steelers (7-6-1) are one game behind 1st place Bengals (8-6) and 2nd place Ravens (8-6). Each team has two divisional games remaining in the final weeks of the season.
