Preview divisional round: Cowboys vs 49ers

It was an entertaining and crazy Wild Card weekend for the NFL and now we are set for the Divisional Round. One of the key games from the weekend games is the San Francisco 49ers led by Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy going up against the Dallas Cowboys led by Dak Prescott.

Both teams are coming off dominating Wild Card wins with San Francisco beating division rival Seattle Seahawks 43-21 and the Cowboys finally beating Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-14. This is the first time the 49ers and Cowboys square off in the playoffs since the 1994 NFC Championship Game where the 49ers won and went on to win Super Bowl 29.

There are high stakes going into the game; Brock Purdy trying to become the 1st Mr. Irrelevant quarterback rookie to win the Super Bowl. Also Dallas has a chance to win the Super Bowl for the first time since 1995.

This has the potential to be a very great and close game with both teams offense having great players and having two of the top defenses in the NFL.

Both teams are very good, but in this matchup I'm going for my favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. This could finally be the year that they come clutch and win the Super Bowl.
