A Dark Horse Team for a Jalen Ramsey Trade

Los Angeles, California (PSF) - This past week reports came out that Jalen Ramsey, one of the premiere corners in the NFL is more than likely getting traded in the next few weeks. Ramsey has been one of, if not the best corner in the league the last few seasons.

Fans are asking why the Rams are doing this and it is very simple. They are in cap hell and will be trying to make another super bowl run next season as it is looking like next year will be Sean McVayโ€™s last. Los Angeles is trying get some draft capital back their way to prepare for an upcoming rebuild, so now would be the perfect time to trade some star players away. It is also being reported that Ramsey will want a new contract from whatever team he is traded to.

A lot of analysts are picking teams like the Bengals and Lions who are in need of cornerback help, but I have one dark horse team that isnโ€™t known for trading for big time players. This team has a young elite corner already and a good safety group. The issue with this teams secondary last season was their play from the cornerback number two position. This team is the Dallas Cowboys.

Look, this makes almost too much sense because Dallas is also retaining Dan Quinn next season who is the best defensive coordinator in the league by a large gap. This is a championship caliber defense with only a couple pieces the front office will be looking to address this offseason. They could easily trade a second round pick for Ramsey and pair him next to Trevon Diggs which would make them the best cornerback duo in the league. Dallas was already going to draft a corner with one of their first two picks in the draft, so why not trade for an already proven, established and elite corner. That way you can address the other team needs in the offseason. The ball is in Jerry Jonesโ€™s court, if he is really hungry to get over this super bowl hump he seriously needs to consider this trade.
