Patriots VS. Bills Wild Card Preview

We are now hours away from arguably the most important game of the year for both the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills. Two familiar foes face off with a lot to prove tonight, and the conditions aren't going to make things any easier. With a low of 3 degrees and winds reaching up to 10 MPH, this game is poised to resemble the week 13 game in Buffalo where these two teams duked it out.

However, it’s hard to really say who has the upper hand this week, as these two teams have been studying and analyzing film from their last two outings against each other. With this, it's clear that both teams will come out with entirely new strategies for this game.

The Patriots have struggled to remain consistent through the last 4 games, as they've gone 1-3, including one loss to the Bills at home. As for the Bills, they've gone 4-0 in those same games. With how the Pats have been playing, it’s easy to choose the Bills as tonight's winner.

Not only that, but it’s also hard to imagine the league's number 1 defense and a team that's on such a roll to lose against a rookie quarterback. But then again, they are playing arguably the best coach of all time, and you can never count out Bill Belichick.

As of right now, the Bills have no inactive players for tonight, and no one questionable for that matter. But for the Patriots, as of right now, Isaiah Wynn is the only inactive. But this poses a big disadvantage for the Patriots, as the offensive line will have to step up. Some other notable players who are questionable for the Patriots include, David Andrews, Adrian Phillips, Kyle Dugger and Lawernce Guy. On the upside, all of these players were limited participants in practice throughout the entire week, so they are most likely going to be playing.

Throughout the week the Patriots have practiced outside, while the Bills have practiced inside; it’s hard to say which approach is more effective until after the game though. Neither Stefon Diggs or Cole Beasley practiced this week, as they were listed under β€˜veteran rest’.

With the game just a few hours away, the playoff energy grows and grows, and fans on both sides become even more nervous than they were before. This game should be one for the ages and no matter the outcome, it will be a close one and a game that will produce high emotions among fans and players alike.
