Patrick Mahomes Wins NFL MVP

For the second time in his NFL career, Patrick Mahomes has taken home the NFL MVP Award home. After leading the league in both passing touchdowns and passing yards, Mahomes can once again add to his trophy shelf. Mahomes threw for a career high 5,250 yards all while completing 67% of his throws. He also threw a league-leading 41 touchdowns and only threw 12 total interceptions.

Mahomes is getting ready to play in his third Super Bowl of his career. Mahomes is trying to be the first player since Kurt Warner to win both NFL MVP and Super Bowl champion. Warner won both with the St. Louis Rams during the 1999 season with “The Greatest Show on Turf”. Can Patrick Mahomes end the losing streak of the MVP or will the streak continue to carry on?
