The Philadelphia Eagles came into MetLife Stadium with a 5-0 record and came to play the New York Jets and were shocked by the Jets 20-14 in a tough defensive matchup that the Jets showed they were more than ready for.

Jets Save their season

Coming into the season with high expectations with the addition of Aaron Rodgers, the Jets expected to be one of the teams there fighting in the end, but once he went down, the exceptions changed drastically. The Jets had a gauntlet to start the season that would have been tough with Rodgers and having to do it with the guy who had lost the fanbase and was benched more than once last year to get to .500 you take that every time. Quincy Williams is looking like an all-pro linebacker yesterday had 12 tackles and a forced fumble, and just looks like a firecracker every moment he is in the game, the key for the Jets defense is depth because when a game gets late they rotate pass rushers with a guy like Bryce Huff playing minimal snaps when he’s in the impact is so great. The Jets head into the bye with a 3-3 record, with the schedule lightening up greatly with games against the Giants(1-5), Chargers(2-2), and Raiders (3-3) with the defense the Jets are playing they are in any game they play. If Zach Wilson can continue playing solid football without turning the ball over, the Jets will be in contention for one of the wild card spots if they continue to play like this.

Eagles offense has to be better

Jalen Hurts looked great to start the game, and then the second half happened, and looked nothing like the Jalen Hurts we saw last year winning hides all wounds, and the Eagles did a good job of winning while hiding the fact that the offense has not looked anywhere as potent as it did last year Hurts has seven interceptions compared to six interceptions the whole year last season.AJ Brown looked every bit like the number one wide receiver with seven receptions for 131 yards, but they got away from the run game against a Jets defense that had been struggling against the run with only 10 rushes for Swift and two for Gainwell, on the other side of the ball the Eagles defense is still a solid unit, and they will be fine, but the offense has to get back to its gameplan of pounding the ball and Hurts making timely throws to get wins. The Eagles will need to bounce back quickly because they have a very tough schedule coming up the offense will need to be up for the challenge against the speedy Miami Dolphins next week on Sunday Night Football.
