Chiefsaholic or Thiefaholic?

Kansas City, Missouri (PSF) - Superfans are all too common in the NFL. Every team has those handful of fans who love to show up to their teams games in funny or outright ridiculous outfits to show support to their team, with many even willing to travel great distances to do so. That superfan for the Kansas City Chiefs has been dubbed ChiefsAholic, whose real name is Xaviar Babudar. He became quickly notorious for showing up to Chiefs games in a gray wolf costume accompanied by Chiefs themed clothing.

Unfortunately for Chiefs Kingdom and anyone who enjoyed the showmanship of the famous die hard fan, “ChiefsAholic” has been arrested with 19 charges, including many felonies. They include 11 counts of money laundering, three counts of armed bank robbery, four counts of transporting stolen property across state lines, and a count of bank theft. Babudar reportedly committed six robberies and two attempted robberies all within the nine-month span of March through December 2022. His total amount of money stolen is estimated to be over $800,000, which contributed to his ability to afford the travel to Chiefs games and pay for his tickets. 

Due to his robberies in 2022, Babudar was initially arrested on December 16, 2022 where  he was caught robbing a Tulsa Teachers Federal Credit Union. He was put in jail and released on bond in February. However, upon his release he cut his ankle monitor and began to live as a fugitive on the run, which marks where Babudar’s biggest streak of crime and robbery started. As of today, he has been placed in federal custody without bail and awaits his trial.
