Giants Looking to Fix Issues
East Rutherford, NJ (PSF) - The New York Giants have been having a rough start to this season and they seem to not start off as hot as last year. They are 1-2 now after the loss against San Francisco last Thursday. Here are a couple of things that the Giants have problems with and should fix to have a brighter future this season.
Problem 1: The Giants O-line has no been great for a while now and always have issues with their offensive line during the season. Our tackles have been having issues the most recently with Andrew Thomas being hurt and not being able to play. On the other side Evan Neal has not preformed the way everyone expected him to play. They played Joshua Ezeudu on Thursday and played pretty well and I think that if Evan Neal continues to perform poorly then they should keep him in the starting spot. This needs to be fixed soon for Giants QB Daniel Jones can have more time in the pocket and make more throws. They havenβt let Jones play at his full potential when he has no time to throw.
Problem 2: Tackling has been a real problem lately for the Giants defense and it showed when they played the 49ers. There were times where Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey catches runs the ball and create space and broke tackles easily. Also, their yards after catch and yards after contact were phenomenal. They need to secure tackles so they do not allow more yards to happen and the opposing offense getting better 3rd down attempts.
