All three teams part of the AFC North that played this past weekend in week six came out victorious. The Baltimore Ravens beat the Tennessee Titans 24-17, the Cleveland Browns beat the San Francisco 49ers 19-17, and the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Seattle Seahawks 17-13.

The Ravens traveled across the pond for a matchup against the Titans and came back to the United States in first place in the North. Rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers, caught the first touchdown of his career. Flowers also added six catches for 50 yards.

Lamar Jackson did enough to win, as he completed 21/30 passes, for 223 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Jackson isn’t having his best season, but it’s enough to win. His completion percentage is up to 69.9% so far this season, but his touchdown to interception ratio is 5:3. In a 17-game season, he’s on pace for only 14 passing touchdowns and 8 interceptions…that’s not a very good season.

A big part of Jackson’s game is running the football and he has 4 rushing touchdowns through the first six games, he’s on pace for 11. Jackson also has four lost fumbles. So, 25 total touchdowns and 15 total turnovers…that’s not a playoff worthy or MVP worthy quarterback.

Baltimore’s defense was in the Titans’ backfield all day long as they recorded six sacks. Patrick Queen and Jadaveon Clowney both had two sacks each. Geno Stone added one interception, as it was a great day to be a defender for the Ravens.

Tennessee QB Ryan Tannehill left the game with an ankle injury and was replaced by second-year QB Malik Willis. Both QBs were unproductive but running back Derrick Henry had a normal Derrick Henry-like day. Henry had 12 carries for 97 yards and one touchdown.

As every week goes by, the Bengals offense has started to look more and more like themselves. Even though they only recorded 17 points in this game, the execution of their plays has seemed more like themselves.

Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow completed 24/35 passes for 185 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase recorded six catches for 80 yards, as he led all Bengals pass catchers in receiving.

The Bengals defense held a high-flying Seattle offense to just 13 points, in the win. Seahawks QB Geno Smith had trouble all day, as he completed 27/41 passes for 326 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Browns defense was swarming Brock Purdy all day, as he had one of, if not the worst game of his career. Purdy completed just 12 of his 27 passes for 125 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Christian McCaffrey also had trouble getting things going on the ground as he only had 43 yards on 11 carries, that’s just 3.9 yards per carry.

Cleveland was without their starting QB Deshaun Watson, yet still found a way to win. Philip Walker, who was under center for the Browns, completed 18 of his 34 passes for 192 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Jerome Ford led the team in rushing yards with 84, on 17 carries. Amari Cooper led all pass catchers with 108 yards on just four catches.

Cleveland heads to Indianapolis for a date with the Colts in week seven, while the Ravens host the 5-1 Detroit Lions. The Steelers are back on the gridiron this week, as they travel cross country to Los Angeles to play the Rams. It’s a bye week for the Bengals, as they’ll have two weeks to prepare for the 49ers in week 8.
