Why Bijan Is Your Number One

Atlanta, Georgia (PSF) - You are a fantasy football owner.  You have found yourself in the fortuitous circumstance of holding the number one overall pick.  Who do you choose?

Do you play it safe?  Draft Christian McCaffrey?  Or do you take a swing?  A swing that will affirm your status as a football savant?  A move that will change the course of fantasy football history?

Draft Bijan Robinson.

Fantasy football has a great web of influencers and commentators who are justifiably excited by Bijan Robinson.  He’s going to a team without many weapons on offense, with an excellent coach, and with a young quarterback in need of a release valve.  Bijan will likely be among the best running backs in the league even without fantasy considerations. 

The Atlanta Falcons have lost their best wide receiver in Calvin Ridley without adequately adjusting.  Robinson will be used to fill that vacuum on offense. 

Arthur Smith is a head coach with sage wisdom who hasn’t gotten a real shot at exhibiting that brilliance in his current position. 

Arthur Smith played a huge part in Tennessee’s best year in rushing offense with Derrick Henry, and he can do it again in Atlanta with Robinson.  Bijan will have an incredible individual season, even if it doesn't result in wins for the falcons.
