DeSean Jackson Retires From the NFL After 15 Years

Ex NFL wide reciever DeSean Jackson retires from the league after 15 years and states “Did it my way!”

Desean Jackson who is mostly known to play for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2008 - 2013 and rejoined the team from 2019 - 2020 made an announcement on Twitter that was a “retirement-like” announcement.

He stated that he finished it his way after 15 strong years in the league and is happy that he ended it how he wanted and nothing forcing him into retirement earlier.

Jackson earned three Pro Bowls and one All-Pro team all while playing for the Eagles.

Jackson also famously played for other teams such as Washington, Tampa Bay, Las Vegas, Los Angeles (Rams) and more recently played for the Baltimore Ravens.

He totaled for his career 641 receptions, for 11,263 yards and 58 receiving touchdowns. He holds an NFL record of 26 catches for over 60 yards.
