3 Things to watch for with the Steelers vs Colts

1.) Can the offense for Pittsburgh produce enough?

The offense for Pittsburgh has been terrible. The O-line misses routine blocks, the playcalling still looks very stale and the Quarterbacks are in shambles. For such a great defense, to have an offense barely show up and not be able to score in the red zone is a big problem. In terms of red zone teams, Pittsburgh is ranked 31st. The offense alone is ranked towards the bottom in all offensive categories. If the offense can get it rolling the Steeler’s defense should have no problem this game.

2.) Next man up for the Colts

The Indianapolis Colts just like most teams this season are dealing with key injuries down late in the year. Their most important is their rising QB Anthony Richardson. Another injury update was Jonathan Taylor who is dealing with a thumb injury and has been moved to OUT for this game. Even with the injuries, the Colts still find ways to win as their recent 4-game streak was snapped by the Cincinnati Bengals. Can the next man up for the Colts step up and produce against a tough Steelers defense?

3.) Defense, Defense, Defense

With two good defenses, the question of the matter is which one for both teams will show up. For the Steelers will it be the defense they displayed versus the Patriots in a brutal loss or will it be the defense displayed versus the team defense they displayed versus the Cleveland Browns? On the other hand for the Colts, will it be the defense they displayed versus the Bengals where Jake Browning simply had his way and could do no wrong, or will it be the defense displayed against the Houston Texans? With injuries to both ides on offense, it may ultimately be up to the defense to hold this game down.
