Day 1 of March Madness
March is the best month for college basketball. The NCAA tournament has just begun. The tournament is where the best college basketball teams compete for the national championship to proclaim themselves as the best team in college basketball.
The NCAA tournament is the best tournament for college basketball because this is where you see upsets from the lower seed to the higher seed. This is where teams shine and be better than their opponents for one day. All it takes is one game to be better than the opponents and you advance to the next round. The tournament is the best game to watch. It happens all day and a time to sit back and relax and enjoy the intensity that both teams will bring on the court.
Upset that could happen. #11 seed Michigan vs #6 seed Colorado State.
Michigan dealt with a lot of problems this season. Whether is covid related, injuries and Coach Juwan Howard getting suspended for five games. Michagan finished the Big Ten conference play 11-9 and lost to Indiana in the second round of the Big Ten Conference Tournament. Michigan is led by their big man Hunter Dickinson. A 7β1 center with a highly skilled game. He has improved his three point range. Heβs shooting the three at 31.6% this season compared to 0% last season. Also, they have Devante Jones, a transfer from Coastal Carolina. Jones has been their best player all season. His ability to control the pace of the game and keep Mihagan in the game is just unbelievable. Jones will be the X factor on the team. But Dickinson will have to be their main driving force in order for Michigan to survive and advance.
Colorado State has a remarkable season. Was nationally ranked. They finished the Mountain West Conference 14-4. Their defense could be the main factor that they will make it far in the NCAA tournament. Their ability to play together all season their chemistry will be unmatched for their opponents. Led by David Roddy who has the ability to play inside out which has the bigs on the opposing team. Roody averages 19.4 points per game and 7.6 rebounds. Roody is the driving force for the Colorado State Rams. This game will be an absolute thriller and whoever comes out this game, will have their hands full with the winner of SEC champs Tennessee and Longwood.
