Ranking the Top NBA Free Agents Still On the Market

New York, New York (PSF) - Most of the 2023 NBA free agency’s big names came off the board over the first few days, but a handful of players do remain. Today we’re going to be looking at the top ten players still left on the board for free agency based on age, position, and how the fits would be.

Here are the seven best free agents left in the market

  1. Christian Wood - Who had one of the strongest 2022-23 campaigns in the league this past season and who can sign with a contending team to compete for a championship is something to look out for.

  2. P.J. Washington - A floor spacing forward in today’s game.

  3. Kelly Oubre Jr. - He put up career high in points at 20.3 per game and steals 1.4 per game.

  4. Hamidou Diallo - Who comes as a shock on the list but his 7’0 wingspan and his above-the-rim athleticism have shown strong defensive rebound and steals rates.

  5. Willy Hernangomez - He has some perimeter skills but his game is closer to those of old-school bigs than today’s rim runners and playmaking 5s.

  6. Darius Bazley - Bazley average 37.7 percent from the three and has a 6’8 frame that might seem small if trying to play him at the four or five instead of the three. A team can use a young wing-forward that can blossom somewhere consistently.

  7. Ayo Dosunmu - After a promising rookie year in 2021-22 Dosunmu took a big step back in year two, his efficiency dropped after the Lonzo Ball injury, but still, the flashes from his rookie season should make him worth a prospect to someone as he is a decent combo guard that can operate with spacing the floor.
