Ranking the Best Big 3’s in the NBA
New York, New York (PSF) - The NBA has seen some legendary big three’s that worked out, and some that haven’t. There is a lot of talent this upcoming season, and with that, it’s time to rank the best in the game right now.
Throughout the season we will see which big threes pan out to be lethal during the course of this year's season with the brand new in-season tournament. Let’s try to rank this year's upcoming big three’s.
Phoenix Suns with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. It’s obvious they are on this list due to the star power they have, which on paper looks really good amid both Durant and Beal being healthy throughout this season and with Beal getting the starting point guard nod for this year, we'll see how this three will coexist.
Denver Nuggets with Nikola Jovic, Jamal Murray, and Aaron Gordon. This big three became a real threat during the 2022 playoffs, which ultimately ended with them winning the NBA championship. This year should be very exciting to see what they can accomplish.
Boston Celtics with a new big three with Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and new teammate Kristaps Porzingis with the superstar firepower offensively with Tatum and Brown adding Porzingis can really be something different with floor spacing and a needed big man for Boston should be very interesting this year.
Los Angeles Lakers with LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Austin Reaves with Austin really showing progression in year two it’s only a higher ceiling for him with his play that actually compliments LeBron and Davis’s game.
The New Orleans Pelicans with Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, and C.J. McCollum this big three still haven’t seen their full potential as much due to injuries and not having time together on the court, with Zion still dealing with injuries we’ve seen he can be a top player in the league with C.J.’s playmaking and shooting also with Ingram's scoring ability can be a good sight to see this year in New Orleans.
Now, there are some honorable mentions for this year's big three’s with the Milwaukee Bucks with Giannis, Jrue, and Middleton. Mitchell, Garland, and Mobley with the Cavaliers. Not a shocker but Harden, Embid, and Maxey are on the 76ers (Assuming Harden plays this year for them). Steph, Klay, and Draymond in Golden State will always be in this discussion if healthy.
This year should be very exciting with all the moves made in this year's NBA Draft and Free Agency.
