Predicting the NBA Champions for the next 5 seasons

2023-2024   

Denver Nuggets 

The Denver Nuggets still seem to be a very unstoppable team. Recently, beating the best team in the NBA, the Boston Celtics. Jokic is on track to win his 3rd MVP and is still the best player in the league. I still see no one coming close to beating them.

2024-2025 

Boston Celtics 

The Boston Celtics seem too good not to win an NBA Championship within the next five years. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will be locked up for at least the next five years, and with the right pieces around them, they can win future championships.

2025-2026

Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder took a different approach than other teams; they built their team from the draft. This season, the Thunder are the one seed and are led by Shai-Gilgeous Alexander. The team is very young, and this season isn’t their time, but in the future, I see this team fully contending for the championship.

2026-2027 

Denver Nuggets

With Nikola Jokic being 32 during the 26’-27’ season, I don’t see his game regressing at all. He will still be a dominant top player in the league. In my opinion, Luka Doncic will get frustrated with the Dallas Mavericks and request a trade with Denver. The dynamic duo of Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic will be unstoppable.

2028-2029 

San Antonio Spurs 

Victor Wembanyama finally asserts himself as the best player in the NBA. Breaking records left and right, the Spurs cruise past the league and win the NBA Championship.
