A herro-less Heat squad faced a Dallas team Thursday that is currently on a 3-game losing streak. After allowing over 129 ppg, it's apparent the Mavs' struggles have come from a lackluster defense. Following a blowout in Boston to start, and two more losses at Home.  A strong Heat team walked into American Airlines with Confidence, as they were looking to continue their two-game winning streak. The squad had won eight of their last ten games.

Despite their efforts, they couldnโ€™t control a surging Mavs offense late in the game. The Mavericks currently have the highest scoring backcourt in the NBA. With Luka leading the charge he finished with another thirty five point triple double;  breaking Russel Westbrookโ€™s 2017 streak of five games achieving the stat. His backcourt mate Kyrie Irving, contributed twenty three points of his own. After a thirty-seven point third quarter the Mavs were able to put themselves ahead leading into the fourth. Luka continues his Scoring title campaign with a captivating win tonight.

The Heat on the other hand missed Herroโ€™s scoring punch after Butler and Bam struggled. With both players finishing under twenty points. Jimmy struggled against the length of the Mavericks defense late in the game, unable to convert in his usual scoring areas. He had six turnovers to add to an overall disappointing outing. Bam found difficulty as well, converting only five of his fourteen shots. On the upside Terry Rozier began to look comfortable ending with twenty-seven points and eleven assists. Miami had looked good early on, starting six for six in the first quarter. But after an early fourteen to two run, the Heat never really found their legs. Staying in the game but not able to keep up with Dallasโ€™ high octane offense.
