Nets City Edition Jersey’s 2023-24

Brooklyn, NY (PSF)– The Brooklyn Nets have released their 2023-2024 City Edition uniform created by Brooklyn based artist KAWS. The Nets announced their two year partnership with the Jersey City born artist. The City Edition design draws from his 10-part art series, called “Tension”.

“As a proud Brooklyn resident, I was thrilled when the Nets asked me to create a new uniform design.” KAWS, known as Brian Donnelly said in an official statement made by the team “The history, community and passion of this borough create an energy that inspires my studio practice, the players and the fans. My design aims to capture the vibrancy that we experience daily when navigating Brooklyn.”  

The jersey features features bold colors and an abstract design, including KAWS' graphic style in the Nets lettering and Brooklyn "B" on the shorts. The waistband features KAWS' signature "XX."

This partnership follows the Nets' previous City Edition jerseys, which showcased the works of Brooklyn artist Jean-Michel Basquiat and honored the legacy of the Notorious B.I.G. and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge.
