After Friday’s matchup of the Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee walked away with the win 113-97. Giannis Antetokounmpo, a power forward for the Milwaukee Bucks, became the new title holder for the franchise with the most wins in regular season and playoffs with 489 wins total. Surpassing previous title holder Sidney Moncrief who held the record of 488 wins.
Giannis Antetokounmpo entered the league in 2013 as a round one,15th pick overall. He landed himself a spot on the Milwaukee Bucks and got to work quickly establishing a name for himself. Throughout his time in the league Giannis has earned one defensive player of the year award, two mvp awards, one finals mvp award, and one NBA championship.
With such great success becomes such great power. Giannis has become the face of the Bucks leading his team to some great success, as well as proving himself. Averaging 30.8 points, 8.7 defensive rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game this season.
