Lebron James Reaches 40,000 Career Points

Lebron James, a power forward for the Los Angeles Lakers entered the league straight out of high school. With such great successes Lebron James became one of the most well known players, some may even refer to him as the G.O.A.T. With the 2023-2024 season being his 21st season in the NBA Lebron James continues to impress many and set new records.

The matchup against the Denver Nuggets was the ultimate test for Lebron. During this game in the second quarter Lebron went for a layup with ten minutes left striking his 40,000 regular season career point. Making him the first ever NBA player to hit 40,000 points during regular season.

This is another huge accomplishment to add to the rest of his accolades. Lebron is a four time NBA Champion, four time NBA Finals MVP, four time Most Valuable Player, 20 time NBA All-Star, three time NBA All-Star MVP, NBA Rookie of the Year, and a NBA All-Rookie First Team. These being a few of the many accolades Lebron has received throughout his time in the League.
