The Miami Heat came up short in Denver after another late-game collapse in the fourth quarter. A 39-point fourth quarter capped off the Nuggets’ win. Kentavious-Caldwell-Pope led the Nuggets with a perfect night, 20 points on 7-7 shooting and 4-4 from 3-PT range while Nikola Jokic obtained his 84th career triple-double in a 19 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebound outing.

The Heat bounced back from an early game slog in the first quarter, taking control of the next two-quarters of the game. Tyler Herro led the way with his 28 points on 9-18 shooting, also getting his 15th double-double in the meantime. Adebayo and Butler followed with 22 and 17 points respectively. Kyle Lowry had a poor outing of 1-5 shooting and 1-4 from three. He also added three turnovers resulting in a plus-minus of negative six. He missed a few games recently with a Knee injury but he's played well in this last stretch. But Friday wasn’t his standards,  to say the least.

The bench did all you could really ask for, Max Strus led with nineteen points and Orlando Robinson followed with 13 on 4-5 shooting. Duncan Robinson’s nine points had put him in the Heat’s history books. Robinson now leads the Heat in all-time three-point field goals.
