Herro Career high, 41 points help heat scrape by rockets

The last couple games Tyler Herro has been on a tear. According to ESPN Stats & Information research, “He joined Stephen Curry and James Harden as the only players in NBA history to make at least nine 3-pointers in consecutive games, and he is the only one to do it on consecutive days.”

Herro Scored 41 points on 10 for 15 shooting from three and 13 of 20 overall on the night.

After a 25 point first Half, Herro’s night carried the Heat all night, bearing a heavy load on the Heat’s 37 point second quarter. Jimmy Butler backed up Herro with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists.

The Rockets competed all night, after a 20 point quarter slog by the Heat in the third. The Rockets scored 33 in the quarter rallying back, with a missed 3 by Porter Jr. ending the game late in the fourth.

Jalen Green led Houston with 22 points on 8-of-21 shooting. Kevin Porter Jr. added 21, Jabari Smith Jr. had 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Alperen Sengun finished with 12 points.

The rest of the Heat had some shooting woes, shooting 19 for 55; a disappointing 34%. Strus and Martin had 12 and 13 respectively. O. Robinson, D. Robinson, and Highsmith scored 9, 8, and 8.
