Full time kyrie?!?

This season for the Brooklyn Nets has been a year full of unfortunate events. But has this Brooklyn Nets bad luck run out.

This season has been visibly difficult for this Brooklyn Nets team over the last couple of months a lot has transpired triggering concern for a lot of NBA fans and evidently, it has been the same for some of the players on this Brooklyn team as well.

This season the Brooklyn Nets have been dealing a part time Kyrie due to him not having vaccine where it is required in New York. As they were we adjusting to Kyrie being part time Brooklyn star Kevin Durant was diagnosed with a sprained MCL setting him up to 4-6 weeks of play. This sent the nets team in a downward spiral. But there might be light at the end of the tunnel.

Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving and his stance on receiving vaccines have been a never-ending story for the NBA this season. Kyrie not receiving the vaccine makes him the first part-time player since Terry Dischinger in 1962. The media has portrayed as a distraction as well as a liability on this Nets some even demanding he be traded. With all the backlash Kyrie has stood tall for his beliefs and accepted being villainized with hope that he would eventually support his team full time, and his prayers may have been answered. ABC News reported that New York Governor Kathy Hochul hinted that New York will possibly raise its mask and Vaccine mandates as employees march the Brooklyn Bridge in hopes protest the possible termination set in place this week for those without a vaccines.

As of now, this does not mean that Kyrie will become a full-time athlete or does it necessarily obtain to Kyrie but it is a good sign that there is a possibility that the city could consider fully lifting its mandate allowing Kyrie to be their full time with this Brooklyn Nets team. With all the trades and drama that have occurred in the last 48 hours, this move will be a big move for this Brooklyn Nets team to win a championship.
