Durant’s 55 not enough

Prior to tonight’s game against the Hawks, the Brooklyn Nets were tied with the Hawks in the Eastern Conference. Tonight’s game would determine what team would end up in the play-in tournament. This was a big game for the Nets who these seasons have underperformed due to injuries and other off-court situations.

The Nets would fight are hard battle against the Atlanta Hawks. Kevin Durant would score 55 score points, but it was not enough to get this Nets team a win. Kyrie Irving would struggle from the field shooting 32% percent from the field scoring 31 points in his outing.

Hawk’s Trae Young would lead the way for his team leaving the game with 36 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds. Next up the Atlanta Hawks will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. This game will determine who the Nets will face off in their single-elimination play-in game to determine if they will secure a spot in the playoffs to contend for a title.
