Doncic and Curry Battle in Dallas

After a slow start to the season, the Warriors began to right the ship in recent weeks with three-straight wins.

In an attempt to continue its hot streak, Golden State traveled to Dallas to take on the Mavericks. What resulted was the spectacular play from the star guards Steph Curry and Luka Doncic.

Curry finished with 32 points on 11-for-24 shooting, including five made three-pointers. He also contributed five rebounds and five assists. Doncic one-upped Curry with an incredible triple-double. He earned 41 points on 14-for-27 shooting and four made three-pointers with 12 rebounds, 12 assists, and four steals.

With the two guards battling for the win, a crucial error for Curry decided the game.

The Mavericks held a two-point lead, and the Warriors had the ball. With little time remaining, Curry was assessed a controversial travel to seal the game. Dallas held on to win 116-113.

With the game’s result, both teams are currently at a .500 record. The loss for the Warriors also pushes their away record to an abysmal 2-10.

Next up for the Mavericks is a trip to Detroit to play the Pistons on Thursday.

For Golden State, the next game is at home against the Bulls on Friday. They’ll need more production from the remainder of the team if they hope to get back on track.
