During an interview after the press confrence for Jaylen Brown signing his contract extension, Mazzulla was able to answer questions.

Mazzulla mentions that point guard Derrick White will be starting in replacement of Marcus Smart. There were questions on who would be in the starting position once Smart was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies; Brogdon or White? Both are great players and are able to play in that starting position.

White averaged 13.3 points a game and 3.9 assists as well this past season. White would usually come off the bench as part of the second rotation of players. Throughout the season, White played a huge role of bringing energy off the bench.

Mazzulla confirming White as the starting point guard is a huge move to their starting lineup. Here is what the starting lineup could look like for the Celtics. This lineup consists of three all-star players and is something to look forward to for this team.
